Primavera Sound has been pursuing the most exciting sounds for more than two decades, from its modest beginnings at Pueblo Espanyol in 2001 to its 672 performances over 12 days in front of more than 500,000 attendees in 2022. Currently, the festival takes place in the Parc del
Fòrum, a large open-air venue located on the coast of Barcelona, which attracts thousands of music lovers from all over the world. The festival usually takes place each year at the end of May and beginning of June, it has several stages with live performances by leading artists and emerging talents.

For the lovers of the festival it is not a surprise that in 2023, Primavera Sound will start in Barcelona and end in Madrid.
For many reasons, “Double Site - Double Excitement”. This year we can then decide on one of the two cities in Spain or we can enjoy the event in both. As expected, they will be held over two consecutive weekends with an incredible line-up, full of surprises, but connected in every way, with the spirit of what Primavera Sound has always had and what it represents today.
We start Primavera Sound in the city of Barcelona, considered by many to be the "best city with the best temperatures". The central days of its 21st edition will be held in the Catalan city from June 1 to 3 at the Parc del Fòrum. Our landing in Madrid will be the last chapter this year, but also the first of everything to come in the history of Primavera Sound Madrid. In the Spanish capital, this year the festival will take place from June 8 to 10 in the Ciudad del Rock de Arganda del Rey
Both venues will also have different and complementary activities during the days leading up to the festival, from Monday to Wednesday and the closing Sunday to fully integrate the festival in each city. These activities are subject to capacity limitations and according to the entry system detailed on its web.
